Cartel Brewing & Blending opened its craft brewery and beer café Saturday, Nov. 18, in a new, larger space in Manheim Township.

The new Cartel Brewing & Blending occupies a restaurant space at 920 Landis Ave. that is the former home of Hunger-N-Thirst, which closed in April.

The move offers more than triple the space of Cartel Brewing & Blending’s former, 2,000-square-foot location at 928 N. Prince St., which opened in spring 2021. Cartel Brewing & Blending features a variety of beer styles which can be customized by blending.

Adam Chamberland, head brewer and majority owner of Cartel Brewing & Blending, said the move allows him to expand his brewing operation while having use of a full commercial kitchen. There’s also an outside seating area at a large patio.

Chamberland described his new restaurant’s menu as “elevated pub food,” saying it will include beef and cheddar sandwiches, chicken cutlet sandwiches and seasonal salads. Chamberland said he plans to be open every day except Tuesday with the kitchen serving food Wednesday through Sunday. A mobile pizza vendor will be on site Mondays.
