The Buffalo Bills have a chance to not only clinch a playoff spot this week, they also have a chance to win the AFC East.
Here are the five scenarios that will earn the Bills a trip to the postseason.
Buffalo clinches AFC East division title with:
- BUF win over MIA
Buffalo clinches playoff berth with:
- BUF tie OR
- PIT loss or tie OR
- JAX loss or tie OR
- HOU-IND tie
If the Bills beat the Dolphins on Sunday to win the division, they will also earn the No. 2 seed in the AFC and host whoever the No. 7 seed is in the Wild Card round.
If the Bills are not able to beat Miami, then they'll need one of the following to secure a playoff berth: a tie or loss by the Steelers, a tie or loss from the Jaguars, OR a tie in the Texans-Colts matchup.
The Bills-Dolphins matchup is in primetime for Week 18 on Sunday Night Football and is the final regular season game of the year. The highly-anticipated showdown will air on NBC with kickoff set for 8:20 p.m.
