Rice, 34, held a show on Saturday night for over 4,000 fans in Petros, Tennessee, the first of 12 planned shows throughout several Southern states spanning until mid-September.

When video of the concert surfaced from Rice's own Instagram story, showing thousands of fans crammed together with no masks or social distancing, Ballerini, 26, took to Twitter on Sunday to call out Rice for his 'selfish' acts.

'Imagine being selfish enough to put thousands of people’s health at risk, not to mention the potential ripple effect, and play a NORMAL country concert right now,' Ballerini began.

She also tagged @ChaseRiceMusic and added, 'We all want (and need) to tour. We just care about our fans and their families enough to wait.'

Rice himself has not addressed Ballerini's tweet, though he did post a brief video of him and his band rehearsing on Friday night.

Reps for the venue where Rice performed at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, a former prison turned into an event complex, told TMZ that the capacity for the venue is 10,000, but they claimed they only let 4,000 people in.

Even if the venue was at less than half capacity, concert-goers did not abide by social distancing guidelines and did not wear masks.

The venue told TMZ that, 'All guests were given temperature checks prior to entering the venue and free hand sanitizer was provided to everyone at entry.
