Matt Damon gave his seal of approval on Bennifer 2.0.
The “Stillwater” star gushed that he’s “so happy” for his best friend and the pop star, who have been dating since the spring.
“I’m just so happy for him. He’s the best,” Damon told “Extra” on Monday.
“He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them.”
Damon, who is also set to star in “The Last Duel” opposite Affleck, previously played coy when first asked about Bennifer 2.0 back in May.
“I love them both,” the Oscar winner said. “I hope it’s true. That would be awesome.”
Now that the “Dinero” singer and “Argo” star have gone Instagram-official, it appears Damon got the OK to address their relationship.
Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 48, have been vacationing in the South of France for the “Selena” actress’ birthday and have left little to the imagination about what they’ve been up to while relaxing on a mega-yacht.
In an attempt to give fans what they want—or perhaps out of a major coincidence—the couple were spotted reenacting a sexy scene from her “Jenny From the Block” music video in which Affleck grabs her booty.
Recent snaps show Affleck placing his hand on Lopez’s bikini bottom-clad rear while Lopez’s personal photographer on board captured the action (presumably for Lopez’s own Instagram page, which previously featured pics of Lopez in the same $650 Valentino swimsuit).
Following their yacht romp over the weekend, the “Gigli” stars stepped out for a festive night at St-Tropez restaurant L’Opéra, where they were photographed smiling at each other while at their table for two.
