Bleacher Report thinks the Buffalo Bills might still have a problem on their hands even with training camp slated to start on Wednesday.

B/R recently named one hole on every NFL’s roster that needs filling before the regular season. For the Bills, it was the No. 2 cornerback spot.

While Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson are currently slated to battle for that starting spot in training camp across from Tre’Davious White, B/R suggests making that a three-way battle via a veteran addition.

Here’s part of B/R’s breakdown:

Wallace, a fourth-year 26-year-old, wasn’t drafted and is back on a $1.8 million prove-it deal, with the Bills likely expecting him to improve this summer. However, there isn’t a lot of competition with veteran Josh Norman still unsigned. Jackson was a pleasant surprise in limited action as a rookie seventh-round pick last year, but neither player jumps off the tape.

The Bills are a Super Bowl-caliber team with few holes, but this has the potential to become a big one if neither player can stand out. Perhaps they still have Norman’s number handy, and Steven Nelson or Richard Sherman would make a lot of sense too.

Throughout the offseason, the Bills have placed praise on Jackson. Even Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane alone has done so multiple times. Considering Wallace was re-signed earlier this offseason as well, don’t expect the Bills to make any sort of addition to this camp battle.

The lone option one could envision happening is Norman returning. The Bills coaching staff has a long history with him, so perhaps considering his age, Norman might just be taking some extended time off before re-signing.
