The Warriors will be looking to do something that’s only been accomplished once before in NBA history in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday: Close out a Finals series in Boston.
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics will be looking to come back from a three-games-to-two deficit. They would be just the fourth team in NBA history to do so with both Games 6 and 7 in different locations.
But, one of those teams did it against the Warriors, and fairly recently too. The Cleveland Cavaliers came back from down three-games-to-one in 2016 to shock the Warriors in the Finals, winning Game 5 in Oakland, Game 6 in Cleveland and Game 7 back in Oakland.

Other than that, the 1978 Washington Bullets came back against the Seattle SuperSonics and both the 1962 and 1969 Celtics did it against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Odds are, the Warriors are in a good spot to close out the Celtics and possibly become the first team since the Magic Johnson-led 1985 Lakers to clinch a championship in Boston.
