After a scoreless first half, No. 4 Spain Park broke away for a 3-0 win at home over seventh-ranked Bob Jones to earn as spot in the Class 7A girls soccer semifinals.
The Jaguars will meet Area 6 foe, and third-ranked, Vestavia Hills for the third time this season in the semifinals on Friday at 1 p.m. Vestavia Hills (16-3-4) beat Huntsville 1-0 to advance and topped Spain Park 2-0 and 3-2 in regular-season matches.
Tori Flournoy, Addy Soehn and Tatum Ahlemeyer scored the goals for the Jaguars.
Spain Park (12-4-4) had 7 shots on goal in the first half and 10 after intermission.
Lillian Gourley had a second straight playoff shutout with 6 saves on the afternoon.
Bob Jones ends the season at 14-9.

GIRLS
CLASS 4A/5A
Westbrook Christian 1, Guntersville 0: The 11th-ranked Warriors upset No. 3 Guntersville on the road on Saturday to earn a semifinals spot next week against East Limestone.
Goalkeeper Madelon Machen had 7 saves for Westbrook (19-3) and senior Anna Cate Edwards had the lone goal of the night off a corner kick by Sara Guffey.
Junior Ella Keene controlled the middle for the winners while juniors Allie Blevins, Aislyn Godfrey and Anna Kilgo shut down Guntersville with a strong defensive line.
Westbrook will play East Limestone on Thursday at 3 p.m. Guntersville ends its season at 14-5.
CLASS 1A/3A
Westminster-Oak Mountain 1, Bayside Academy 0: The No. 4 Knights advanced to the semifinals thanks to a goal with less than 2 minutes remaining by junior forward Emily White. White’s goal is her 40th of the year, good for second in Class 1A/3A.
Freshman goalkeeper Lailie Parvin had 2 saves in the home shutout of No. 10 Bayside (10-9-2).
Westminster (14-6-1) will meet defending state champion and third-ranked Trinity (14-5-2) in the state semifinals at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
BOYS
CLASS 6A
McGill-Toolen 6, St. Paul’s 1: The fifth-ranked Yellow Jackets advanced to the semifinals and improved to 19-8 on the year.
Scorers for McGill-Toolen included Parker Fields, Dominic Piccini, Cam Marae, Bryan Marinho and Will O’Connor. Stefan Barbour had 5 assists.
Andre Moore picked up the win in goal.
McGill is 19-8 on the year while No. 14 St. Paul’s finished the season at 16-8-1.
