My order was the Huaraches Plate ($8.75) with carne asada (steak).
It definitely isn't my go-to at spots like El Fuego, but I read the description on the menu and it spoke to me. As we sat and enjoyed our guacamole and chips, there was also a photo of the plate on the wall next to us under the TV.
The description is open-faced homemade bread, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, avocado and your choice of meat.
The large slices of avocado were a big highlight and so was the thin bread, which I would have mistaken for a thick flour tortilla if I hadn't read differently on the menu. Either way, it was good and as we ate we saw a ton of people come in and out picking up takeout or delivery orders for dinner at home.
