For starters, one of the tell-tale signs of coronavirus is a sustained fever, something that does not accompany allergies. So if your temperature isn’t regularly above 100 degrees, it’s unlikely you’ve contracted coronavirus.
Secondly, allergies typically result in sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, watery and itchy eyes, ear congestion, postnasal drainage and itchy sinuses, ear canals and throats, none of which are listed as symptoms of the coronavirus, which typically results in coughing and shortness of breath.
