Montclair State earned the lone dissenting first-place vote to finish second in the poll. The Lions open their NJAC schedule at home against Montclair State on April 9.
TCNJ finished the year ranked in the top-20 nationally in several categories. TCNJ was eighth in the NCAA in fewest turnovers, averaging just 12 per game. TCNJ also ranked 10th in draw controls per game and 19th in free position percentage. The Lions also finished 21st in the nation in shots on goal, averaging more than 27 per game.
Five of TCNJ's six all-region selections from last season are returning. They are senior Jennifer LaRocca and juniors Wayden Ay, Jillian Westerby, Anna Devlin and Sabrina Phillips. Westerby, LaRocca and Ay were all named First Team All-NJAC in 2021. Devlin and Phillips earned All-NJAC Honorable Mention.
The Lions open the 2022 season at Scranton on March 1.
