LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee women's swimming team took the top spot at the annual home ODAC Relays on Saturday afternoon.
 
Highlights from the Meet:
-The Generals scored a meet-high 462 points to cruise to the win. Lynchburg claimed second place with 307 points, while Roanoke rounded out the top-three teams with 298 points. For the full list of team scores and finishes, click here.
 
-W&L won eight of the 10 events on the day and saw 12 different swimmers take part in at least one win each. Nine different Generals had a hand in multiple wins, led by a trio of swimmers with four each.
 
-Leading the way were juniors Brynn Martinson (Charlotte, N.C. / South Mecklenburg) and Sophia Rollo (Haddonfield, N.J. / Haddonfield Memorial) and sophomore Myla Rice (Alexandria, Va. / T.C. Williams). Martinson and Rice swam together on three wins, coming in the 100 free relay (45.96), 400 free relay (3:39.13) and 500 free relay (4:49.03). Martinson also helped the 200 medley relay (1:51.47) to a win, while Rice's final win came in the 3x50 fly relay (1:21.29).
 
-Rollo joined Martinson and Rice on the 400 free relay and 500 free relay, while also taking part in the 3x50 back relay (1:21.98) and 3x100 IM relay (3:07.37).
 
-Seniors Jillian Cantrell (Harrison, Tenn. / Girls Preparatory School) and Sara Gaston (Mechanicsville, Va. / Mechanicsville) also turned in strong days, aiding in three wins apiece. They both swam in the 200 medley relay (1:51.47) and 4x25 underwater dolphin kick relay (50.19) wins. Cantrell joined Rice and sophomore Bella Tarbet (East Hampton, N.Y. / East Hampton) on the 3x50 fly relay, and Gaston's final win came on the 3x50 back relay with Rollo and senior Sally Ennis (Richmond, Va. / Collegiate School).

-Utecht, Martinson, Rice, Tarbet – 100 free relay (45.96)
-Rice, Cantrell, Tarbet – 3x50 fly relay (1:21.29)
-Rollo, Gaston, Ennis – 3x50 back relay (1:21.98)
-Martinson, Rice, Rollo, Fisher – 400 free relay (3:39.13)
-Rollo, Macholz, Baxley – 3x100 IM relay (3:07.37)
-Martinson, Rice, Rollo, Utecht – 500 free relay (4:49.03)
-Gaston, Macholz, Cantrell, Martinson – 200 medley relay (1:51.47)
-Gaston, Cantrell, Pennisi, Ennis – 4x25 UW dolphin kick relay (50.19)
